It has been in the Olympic Games since 1896. You can swim for exercise no matter what your age is. It is a safe form of exercise though you didn’t see any sweat on your body because you are wet. Sometimes when we swim a lot we can get shoulder pain because our shoulders are the one who’s implementing so much power so that stretching before swimming is a good way also. Some people say that when you learn swimming at a young age it is better because while growing up you are improving and getting better. It is easier for the young ones to learn even the so called dog swim, because when we are already old we tend to be nervous every time so that it is difficult for us to learn swimming.

In swimming we will always feel cold because we are on water so that people with heart condition is advice not to swim often or stay at swimming pools for a long period of time because our human body cools down when we are on water though swimming is a good exercise for the heart and lungs. Floating and swimming back and forth is a great way of exercise and can burn fat that is good for our body.

Almost all of the muscles in our body is moving when we are doing swimming that is why the said activity is a great way of exercise that burns our fats easily because it also helps to increase our metabolism. If you want to lose weight by means of swimming you need to do this activity often at least twenty minutes per day. Also experts said that swimming can burn up to six hundred fifty calories. Remember you shall not swim already after eating it can cause cramps.

Sometimes swimming is risky you really need strong physical and emotional power to do it. In here, you can do the butterfly swim, back stroke, floating and so on. Also helps us to prevent and reduce stress because it made our mind and body relax, because when we are on water our mind doesn’t think of negativity and our body is free to move. It can be like a physical therapy it can be compared to yoga or some activity that is meditating. Although there are some people who loves swimming there is also a big percentage of people that doesn’t know how to swim. That is why it’s better to learn while we are young.

Nowadays, some schools and universities has swimming as part of the physical education subject it teaches the students to be physically and emotionally powerful. It is part of some competitions now because it helps the players or the swimmers to survive. Going to swimming is the best way or best example of relaxation. It is also a great way of bonding with friends and with your family it can strengthen your relationships and helps you to become healthier and physically fit. This facts and information’s are proof that swimming are not only done every summer or if there is a special occasion it can be a hobby or a past time and especially passion when you love swimming and you are competing. You can go to the nearest club house and pay little amount of money. There are some instructors that will teach and guide you.
